ROHR goes GREEN 2.0

The articulated truck with a through-loading system and a loading capacity of 38 Europool pallets or 63 roll containers offers the perfect conditions for efficient distribution traffic. The clever through-loading system with swiveling front flap and drive-over flap is particularly economical in the case of tight ramp capacities, since the time for unhitching and coupling the trailer during loading and unloading is saved.

The whole articulated truck is also ecologically mature thanks to the natural gas-powered IVECO chassis and the perfectly matched ROHR trailer. As a positive side effect, a significant reduction in noise emissions is achieved.

The technology used includes, among other things, electronically driven cooling devices, insulated box bodies with aluminum silent floors and tail lifts with silent units - all in the so-called PIEK versions. The PIEK regulations apply across Europe as the standard for low-noise devices: A maximum noise emission of 60 dB (A) must not be exceeded.

"The current projects on the topic of gas-powered bodies and corresponding trailers show us very clearly that the trend of 'green rethinking' has also reached the vehicle construction industry. We reacted to this by deepening our know-how and applying it many times. The result is great, sustainable projects that are not only good for our customers, but also good for our environment, ” explains Martin Kässbohrer, Managing Director of ROHR Spezialfahrzeuge GmbH.
